    Default LoveBass's Setup

First Selection I was 16 borrowed the turntable and CDJ and repurposed my midi keyboard.

First Party running some timecode, in a barn.

First real decks. Str8 150s best turntable around.

    putting things together

swapped the DJM 707 out for the xone 42

    My home studio those days.

added the xone 1ds and loved them.

Swapped the 42 out for the Ecler Evo 5 (17 year olds shouldn't be allowed to access their bank accounts when on oxy for two weeks straight)

Traded the a8 for an EKS otus but promptly sold it. There is such thing as too much midi.

bought the laptop before college. Did all my previous giging with my old Imac.

Hello Dorm, this didn't last long. Roomate was knife friendly.

New Dorm but no table. The 1d macbook pro i7 issue wasn't solved so I sold them for some x1s. I liked them a lot better though I miss some of the functionality and customization.

Got a table, started spining with my DJ partner and caught the vinyl bug.

home for the summer, clever speaker stand as record holder solution

Finally picked up the Expedit from a cornell student on craigslist. Launchpad was a birthday present.

    Current Dorm Situation:

    Final Gear list:

    Ecler Evo 5
    Str8 150s
    Kontrol X1s
    Launchpad
Ipad 2 Running Touch OSC (not shown)
    M Audio Bx8as
    Alesis Airsynth
    Alesis Airfx
Toneport KB37 (First Piece of digital music gear, useful in so many ways)
DJM 707 (got to have backup, or I should sell it, taking offers)
Technics 1210 m5gs (not shown for sale)
Traktor Scratch 2 Pro (just upgraded)
Just bought My first PA as well

    Past Gear List:
Novation SL Mk2 (gave it to my Video Jockying friend who uses it day to day)
EKS Otus (very cool not so practical)
Xone 42 (great mixer love the Evo 5 more)

    Dream Additions:

    New Studio Monitors
Xone 92 for an all analogue classic vinyl setup
    Maschine
    More vinyl ALWAYS!

** Minor Note: Although I'm 19 everything has been bought with money I've made. Not made as in I saved grandma's money. This is what can happen if you work in Restaurants through highschool and college! My parents are in the "if its so important buy it yourself" though camp

WOW you're brave, a full desktop setup at a barn party-LOL!
You certainly have gone through your fair share of equipment

How did you find the OTUS-why did you part ways?

The EVO 5 certainly is a beast of a mixer, what does it have over the A&H that persuaded you to part with that much money????
    Pair EKS OTUS, Akai MPD32, Vestax DJ6000M, JBL Control 10's, HP G70 (6GB RAM-Pentium Dual 2.27GHZ-Windows 7 64bit)

Thanks man. The Otus was just a bit too redundant with th 1Ds and the midi on the Evo. Plus it was just a bit too much but very cool. The Evo I wonderful, tsp certified and the on board audio card is so simple. The effects unit is super customizeable and everything even wht frequencies th eq cut can be changed. I think it's a completely underrated mixer. Saving your own fx is so cool and coming from a background in production that level of control is what im after
