I've just bought myself a numark mixtrack pro II, I had no experience of controllers before this but had a look at one and decided to buy it, very easy to use with serato intro without the need for midi mapping, all the controls just work, very responsive scratch wheels (at least responsive enough for me). Mappings available for mixxx, traktor and Vdj.

Although it's got all the sample, cue etc buttons, I still felt there was something missing in serato, of course in mixxx, traktor and vdj you're free to assign the buttons to whatever you want but serato the functions are set, so the only way to do that is to add another controller, which is pretty much why I've ended up here :-)

I have a Numark N4. Really great one-stop-shop in terms of available outputs, built-in soundcard, compatibility with multiple softwares (I use the latest incarnation of TP2, but the controller can also be used with Serato DJ and Serato Intro) and ease of use button-wise, meaning it's not too cramped for a MIDI controller. Got it relatively cheap too, and have DJed huge club spaces with it no problem. Definitely worth it!
