    Default AAC to mp3 converter

    Hi guys

So some of my favorite electronic music from when I was in high school that I lost, well, I found on iTunes (The Command and Conquer soundtracks). It's only in AAC format.

So, I want this in mp3. What's a good, reliable m4a to mp3 conversion software?

    Thanks

You could use ffmpeg to convert aac into mp3.
But i don't know if there are any quality losses etc ...
i am actually converting all my stuff (CDs,Vinyls) to AAC, cause i think it sounds a tiny bit better.

itunes itself has an mp3 converter: Advanced>Create MP3 Version. quality and other settings can be set in preferences.

Adobe Audition is easy also. This program by ERight is dope too...and free. It converts everything. Video, audio to your phones, etc. I use it alot.

Why do you want to convert AAC to MP3? AAC is a better codec.

one could argue that mp3's are more widely compatible.
