Cant get sound after converting to MP3

Hey guys, I just made a mix and recorded it with Adobe Audition cs5, and it outputs the recording as a wave (ended up being almost a gig). The problem is I tried using two different converters (winLAME and someother one), and no matter how many times I tried converting it after its converted I get NO sound out of the new MP3 file. What can cause this?

You can export / save as mp3 right from Audition - have you tried that?

^ I dont get that option. I actually can only do one thing export the session and it just includes a wave file. Im using the trial version maybe mp3 exporting is only allowed in the full version?

How do you guys convert it to mp3? I mean with which programm because Traktor records as wav and it's huge

Usually when I have a wave file and I convert it to mp3 using winLAME it works fine, but it just isent working this time.

I use Audacity or iTunes to convert to mp3.

must because it it is a demo. i convert my sets to mp3 in audition just fine
