Oh god, to update or not update. . . .

The last one bust it, will this one break it further? It seems no-one has quite the same experiences with NI updates.

I think I'll hold out untill some of you brave soldiers have done the testing for me.

I gave this a spin last night but it is still unusable for me when using a custom S4 user mapping. The jogs have unbelievable lag when in user mode. If I go back to HID its not an issue at all.

You might wonder why I need User mode? Well that is for the Xone 4band EQ.

So it looks like I am stuck on 2.0.3 for a bit longer. *sigh*

But it also depends which of the 2.1.2 fixes u want. If theres nothing in the new features that ud use, no pointin upgrading. But if ur using timecode lets say, theres some good fixes there.

I'm using 2.1.1 and I want all the fixes. I just hope it fixes what they say it does and doesnt introduce any more bugs!

If I can keep my old version too then I guess its worth a shot.

Hi all. I've just switched after years of SSL use.. My S4 is being delivered today...
Could anyone advise me how I can get hold of 2.0.3 for Mac please? I got 2.1.1 when I bought the software, which I've updated to 2.1.2 today,but I'd love to have the rock solid version too..
I got the 2.0.3 update off NI's website, but I don't think I can install that on top of 2.1.2 ?
Any advice greatly appreciated

Since it's a separate install I think you can. I'm not 100% on that though.

Does anyone happen to have the full installer for the mac version? I just got a macbook but don't have the TP2 installer CD with me. I tried to DL the demo but the DL link is broken...
