    Default Low Cost Camcorders

Recording some promos in the club I work at right now. What do you guys recommend as a cheap $<300 option. Sound recording is not necessary.

I've done quite well with a Flip, but if your best bet is a Go Pro. I think you can get a Go Pro Hero for around $200 and it's all the camera you'll ever need.

They're even waterproof! It's actually what all the "extreme athletes" mount to their helmets before they jump off things. Good quality vids and very durable.

^jakeintox knows what he's talking about. Gopro has a regular, a 720, a 960 and a 1080p model. The 960 cost me 200$ waterproof, mount able anywhere, near indestructible. I use mine for snowboarding, rock climbing, skateboarding and surfing. Its versatile. Rather small too.
