    Default Connecting a Mic to the audio kontrol 1

    Ok so I had a gig the other night and I tried hooking up my mic to my audio kontrol 1 and nothing worked so then I thought it might be the cable so i changed the mic cable and it still didnt work so then I thought maybe the mic I bought was defective so then i had some one bring me two other mics and none of them worked ......I tried hooking them up via xlr and quarter inch and none of them worked I event tried hooking them up to the line out too and still didnt work ......hope fully you guys can help me out...is there some sort of setting on traktor that I have to mess with ? or is it my audio kontrol 1 ?

    There probably is a setting you have to mess with in Traktor.

    What version you using? Have you specified an input for the mic?

    I think im useing 1.0.2
    what you mean by specified input for mic ? like in the software ?

    Well, I really don't know. Nothing in the manual on it...

    Maybe what you do is set one of your input channels to be the mic input, then enable that channel anytime you wanna talk?
