Default Dual Booting Mac OS X

I am thinking of Dual Booting my Macbook to have a single "clean" copy of OSX Lion running just what I need for a performance and having another instance of OSX Lion on a separate partition for my day to day stuff.

Has anyone done this before with any of the instances of Mac OSX?? Any pitfalls I should try to avoid? Any problems performance wise with this setup??

You don't need to do that with OSX, just create another user account and you should be fine. Unless you want to run different versions of the OS for specific purposes it doesn't make much sense.

That's True I forgot that OSX Has Totally Separate Files for Users. Thanks for the tip, makes it a lot easier than installing 2 instances of the OS.
