    Default vci-100b or vci-100silver

i have allready read a few threads about the black vs. silver thing, i am talking about the normal vestax edition not the se one.

i think most improvements on the newer black version are just cosmetics; buttons & lights ect. - afaik.

unfortunally i didnīt find the thread but what about the jog wheels on the black edition? are the jogs improved on the vci-100b - more sensitive and or is there a fix for the silver version...i am also wondering, if vestax might have fixed this problem with the newer silver ones?!

thanks 4 helping a newbie out

There are sensitivity knobs on the back of the VCI-100. That might help.

You are likely getting confused with the VCI-300, which has 14 bit midi jogwheels. All VCI-100's use 7 bit midi, and therefore are all the same. DJTT and Vestax are coming out with a new firmware that will up the VCI-100's jog wheels to 14 bit midi capability (although 14 bit midi jogwheels aren't supported in traktor yet.

i cant remember exactly but maybe its the firmware upgrade that makes the jog wheels more sensitive? pretty much what mpetersen3 said but i thought the firmware upgrade was gonna do that for the vci-100?
