Default cheap option to play off memory sticks?

Hi Guys I use traktor but prefer cdjs with memory stick unfortunatly not all venues have these thus why I use traktor,Im looking for a cheap dual player that takes memory sticks just for convenience on small gigs, can anyone recommend such a controller? which one? ps dont like the stanton or the denon as tracklist display is difficult to read.
Ps I see that carl cox has stopped using traktor and gone back to cdjs!

I used a Numark D2 Director back in 2007 - 2009. It was ok and a very accurate, straight forward player capable of playing different types of formats. Although the D2 Director has been discontinued, they replaced it with the DDS with a colored LCD screen.

    Advantages are:

-3 USB inputs (one in front and two at the back)
    -light to carry
    -No computer needed
-Quick plug and play and takes less than 3 minutes only to set up
-The tracks can be either analyzed in the unit or the librarian software that comes with the product and can be downloaded at the Numark site
-BPM can also be analyzed on free programs such as Mix Meister
-Reads pretty fast on first time loading of USB stick/HD
-Can also serve as controller to dual CD decks.

    Disadvantages are:

-Rubber buttons and can be quite flimsy especially if you have heavy pressing fingers. But the buttons are so much better than the Denon's
-Doesn't fit in most DJ bags because of its 19", 2U dimensions. Needs a special case or bag for it.
-Jog wheel is very sensitive and no adjustments can be made. But once you're used to it, then it's not a problem

You can also check other USB players from Denon and Cortex.

Could do worse than an American Audio Versadeck

    Numark Radius 1000
    Stanton SCS4dj
    Numark CDX
    DJtech Usolo
    Numark IDJ2 (3 sucks).

Almost every venue has CDj 1000' MK3s or 800's at least though ... could you not just burn MP3 cd's for occasions when stick's won't work?

I had the Numark CDX, and it wasn't great for reading USB's. Anything over 4GB took a long time to load.

karlos have seen it, he was using traktor up till the summer,if you look on pioneers dj sounds he is all over the cdj 2000 and seems to have ditched traktor, all recent vids show him playing on cdj2000s with little mention on the ni site.
I have seen nothing from a promo point of view about cc using traktor of late and loads of him using pioneer.
Im not saying one is better than the other truth is cc can probably do an equally good job on either pioneer or traktor.
I use traktor simply because most venues do not have pioneer 2000s or 9000s so i carry my laptop plus x1 and soundcard if they have the pioneer gear i use a memory stick.
What I think has happened hear is that cc knows he can expect the pioneer usb gear in clubs now,so he can simply rock up with memory sticks and who can blame him.
I am not a pioneer fanboy I would never fork out for the over priced kit,I would not want to fork out if it needed fixing,I would not like to hump these things round from gig to gig,on the other hand if I was a well know dj I would probably receive a pair of these for free and if I was a well know club these would probably be fitted into the booth for free, and maybee because of all this free stuff when joe blogs rocks up to buy a pair that is why they are so expensive! just a theory!
