    Default Hmmm.. producing hardware advice

So I'm thinking of getting a new piece to add to my setup.
with which of the two are you more capable of doing shit with?

APC40 or some sort of midi keyboard?
I'm leaning more towards the APC 40...

Depends on your style of production, if you are synth based you might want a keyboard, if you are mainly drum programming you might want an MPD ..

Personally I think the APC40 is just fantastic and the integration is well tight with Ableton, you'll love it

I would not say no to a MPK mini as well or something similar for drums and synths ($70 well worth it!)

There's a whole subforum for producing, you should try posting in there.
But pretty much what Deevey said, it depends on what you want to do.
Perhaps even a sample pack/softsynth would be more useful than hardware?
