Have you read the manual in order to read how to set it up correctly?

if so, what settings did you make?

do you have the latest version of virtual dj? The atomix forums are incredibly helpful.
The fact that you're posting here, and that you're going from a $300 pro level software to a free software without your main concern being wasted money - I'm assuming you've pirated VDJ. In which case, don't expect it to work properly.

If I'm wrong and you have bought it, the atomix guys will be more than happy to sort you out, I'm a serato user myself, but I hear they are particularly helpful and active in the forums, and the community is apparently very active too.

Like Newg said, if you pirated it dont expect it to work properly. Not trying to come off as a dick, but you should have figured a serious program into your budget before getting a bunch of equipment. I say pay for a program then see if it works
