you would probably get bored of them in a few minutes, as it would be impractical to use for djing as they don't offer any real precision only improvisation, although it may be okay for shaping synth noises in a daw, but tactile knobs and faders will always be better imo

i think itd be great for FX parameters like beatmasher in Traktor like the closer your hand got to the cube the tighter the roll, it would add alittle bit more show and flair and just kinda look nifty if you could change the colors on it throughout the set or according to what you were using it for
