    Recording from the Internal Source
Recording from the internal source only works in Internal mixing mode.
In this setup we use TRAKTOR’s Internal Mixer and the Internal recording method. This means TRAKTOR records from the Master Output of its own mixer. You don’t have to do any cabling with this method. In TRAKTOR, do the following:
    1.
    Open Preferences > Output Routing.
    2.
    Choose Internal Mixing Mode.
    3.
    Open Preferences > Mix Recorder.
    4.
    Choose Internal as Source.
    5.
Choose where the recordings should be saved or leave the default settings My Documents/My Music/Traktor (Windows) and User:Music:Traktor (Mac OS X).
    6.
Choose a Prefix, e.g. live_jan15th_ - this prefix will be added as part of the filename which also contains a timestamp. Defining a prefix makes it easier to sort and find your recordings afterwards.
    7.
Choose a file size at which your recording file will be split. If you want to burn your recordings to CD later, a file size of 650 MB is recommended.
    8.
Click on the cassette icon to right corner of the Global section to open the Audio Recorder.
    9.
Load a track in a Deck and click Play.
→ You should see the level meters move now.
    1.
Adjust the recording level with the Gain knob. It should not clip!
    2.
Click the Record button to start the recording!
