Default SSL vs Itch jog wheel question

I used SSL for the first time with a pair of CDJ2000s last night. Is there any way to set up SSL so that the jog wheels do not pitch bend your track.

For example, in itch, when you use the jog wheels you are simply moving the beats, you do not alter the distance that they are apart. In SSL, when you use the jog wheels, you stretch or compress the beats together.

I know what he means. It's the same as if you use SSL with HID or with timecode. With HID (and also in Itch) when you pitch bend on the jogs in HID the track speeds up, but the wave/transients do not squish then separate some when they settle to the playing BPM. With timecode this is how it works.

You just gotta get used to it.

I'm on TT's, not CDJ's, but I enjoy the squish or stretch when I'm nudging or dragging one track a bit, it feels more organic that way.

My set up with the CDJ 400's are hooked up in HID, the response when nudging tracks is much faster and accurate. I gig out with timecode and by now have gotten used to it. There is a different (funner) feel to it when using TT's in my opinion.
