launchpad + m audio x session

Hi guys

I am thinking on this here...

launchpad to map for 2decks and the x session to use for the mixing the 2 decks etc as I plan to connect my laptop from line in to 1 channel on the club mixer.

My question is this...

if I connect the line in from laptop to mixer.. and insert my headphones into main mixer in club, can i press the head phone symbol ont he x session and still hear a preview of the deck being 'queued' if not how will I come around this.

if i understand you correctly the answer is no...

you would need a sound card inbetween the laptop and mixer to get "cue"...
