    Default New Shiftee Traktor Video

Just came across this on Youtube, and think it's nice to see DJ's who started off on two turntables and mixers, and are now using technology to better themselves. Opinions?

Shiftee's maschine is almost as classy as mine.

That was pretty cool. But give him an MPC and some vinyl and he could do the same thing.

Can you bring your's home to your mother

And I agree, I just think it's cool how he's going to give the mapping away, helping beginner's. He's probably doing it because Dubspot wants that, but still helpful

Haha, great vid. He sounded a bit nerdy on some previous videos, maybe the environment where they shot this one affects him differently.

mmm...did not like this vid much.

He did not do all that much but jam the Mashine a little.
Would have liked to see more turntablism in there...but I guess he was showing off his Mashine mapping and not his scratching.

Great video, great routine... I fell into the trap of thinking "I could actually do this" and then 2:40 or so happens and, well Shiftee is a controllerist/turntable god... oh well back to the practicing...

I took a class at Dubspot over the summer.

Tell ya what - I'm looking forward to (read: hoping for...) a Shiftee/A-Trak battle.

Amazing and one of the best decisions I've ever made. I self taught myself how to mix over the last few years and I know it sounds cliche but I feel the class took me "to the next level."

    I highly recommend it!
