how do you like them so far? I've had mine for so long I can't even remember what the old ones were like. 12 years without replacing anything although I'm finally needing a new ear cup.

So far I love them ... a BIG difference from my XD:53's ... They are lighter on my head and they isolate really well (without squeezing the head too much). I also like how they sound, very crisp and a nice flat response. My XD:53's started falling apart after four years of use, so I figure I would invest in a pair of cans that I can replace all parts.

The dude that gave me the F1 is in town for work and pulls an X1 out of his backpack for me. He says it's just collecting dust in his place, to which I reply that the F1 is just collecting dust in my place since it's a pain to do any remix deck stuff with vinyl...anyways, I have an X1. Maybe I'll play around with an X1 and F1 for some of my digital stuff just to change things up.

Oh, and I picked up one of these in an impulse GAS relief purchase after hearing the 7x7 sounds will also be available.

Still not sold on it. I love the sound and the playability, but I'm not sure the pain in the butt to get it integrated into my DAWs as well as some of the other shortcomings is worth it when I have Push with its playability and all kinds of 808, 909 and 7x7 samples. I have 30 days to decide...

I love incorporating the TR8 to my live sets. I hate how the added 7X7 kits will be $95 but it may be worth it. Have you updated to the 1.11 firmware? I highly recommend it.
