Right on - just saw your video in your "show your setup" thread. Is there a way to quantize it with the drum beats? I'm guessing its fully analogue so bringing its output into a DAW is just like bringing in any sound? Forgive my naiveness when it comes to analogue music production.

Setup for Pro Tools. I work in Ableton Live mostly but once in a while I'll do something in Pro Tools. The Novation is a cheap alternative to the Artist series or Command 8. The buttons and sliders on right side control volume, solo and mute functions. Then you can change them to control the sends. Then the bank buttons to change to the next group of 8 channels.
and yes, I love Maschine. Makes it much easier to get drum ideas going.
Cool.
Can you change Automap to basically ignore the right side and use the rotaries for level/sends/etc. control while still using HUI (or whatever it uses)? After playing with my nanokontrol2, I've realized that a control surface without motorized faders and scribble strips really is a let down. Using endless encoders instead of faders would solve that problem (like the way Maschine works with Mackie Control emulation…except maschine doesn't do HUI and PT doesn't understand Mackie Control).
