Dude regardless of whatever you use, cd or not, you will probably run into an issue where someone is gonna want to use cds, maybe a friend messing around or something. Plus for re-sale value it not worth it. Not worth it at all in my opinion. 2000 all together maybe is better.

I got mine perfect for 2200.

Also I'd say its tough to say that the cdjs 2000s may not go on sale for some time. I don't think pioneer will really drop the price much for a while. If anything the 2000 nexus maybe even more $ then 2000. It may take some time for them to drop in price.
