At first I wrote a long, long post but decided to trash it all and keep it kinda short instead.
Thing is, I bought my first vci-100 around two years ago (?) after seeing it on this site. I had tons of fun with it, playing at the local place every few weeks. Half a year later I was about to travel Central America so I sold the vci.
Now I've been without a VCI for a year or so. A month ago though, I recieved the vci-100 se from DJTT. Funny how items that like that can make your day, your week or even your month. On top of that my work gave me the new MBP.
I used an entire week or more searching for a working, but cracked and free, version of Traktor Pro to use with it. Can't believe I threw so much into it instead of just buying it.
Which I just did. And hell, I never knew buying software could make so many things easier. Not just "software-wise" but also mentally. No more fiddling around every time there is an update. Support. Moral.
And now two guys even convinced me to read the freakin' manual as well, haha. But I actually did read it.
I'm happy and very, very well geared to get going now!
Thank you DJTT, thank you forum-users, thank you mom.
