    Default Vinyl timecode issue

    Hey guys,

Having bit of a weird issue with my timecode. It only happens on 1 deck. It plays fine for a few seconds, then the input level (calibration screen) drops from 100% to about 80% and does what is shown in the picture. Then it comes back up again.

I tried swapping needles from left to right, still does it.
I tried swapping the actual timecode from left to right and it still does it.
I tried swapping the channels on the sound card and it still does it.

I bought some gruv glide and will give my vinyl a good cleaning when i get home. Any other suggestions? I think ive isolated the problem to the one turntable in question.

    Sounds like the deck mate.

Have you got any Q-tips and some rubbing alcohol? Clean the headshell contacts on the tonearm.

Ive played on many turntables and this always seems to be a problem.

Does it ever drop one channel totally?

Try unplugging one of the RCA's from the deck, it should tell you one channel is still connected. See what the signal quality is like, then try the other RCA.

It could be youve got one shady connection from your TT.

    Could be a bad RCA.
