Default Live mixing (Paul Kalkbrenner style)

I've been contemplating trying this out for some time now and i've decided to go ahead with it.

But i really do not know where to start. I have ableton and know my way around it pretty well from producing, I also own an Evolution uc-33e.

I feel like i'm going to need help with a mapping of some sort ? And going to need something for launching clips ?

Can anyone please spare a minute and shed some light on this for me ?

To answer the question why i'm doing this, I feel it would help my production immensely and i'll also enjoy it thoroughly.

I think an Ipad does a better job as a clip launcher, all the benefits from the previously mentioned plus color + name feedback on the grid.

    Download this: http://www.ableton.com/minus

Gaiser's set is a perfect example on how to keep things simple without losing versatility.

Personally i'm not too keen on touchscreens like to have something a bit more physical.

I downloaded those last night, I'm going to get into them over the weekend.

    Paul uses ableton.

He uses ableton, There's a video on the ableton website (a short interview) of him talking about how he uses it in Berlin calling and for all his live shows.
