what kind of computer are you using? ... are you using serato?.. traktor? ..
before rane released the bridge i use to record using garage band on my mac. ..
2 Technics M5Gs - 4 Technics mk2s - Novation Dicers - Rane Sixty-two - Monster Beats By Dre. Pro - KrK Rokit 6s - Avid Mini box - Pro Tools - Pioneer DDJ SX - Novation Twitch
i5 pc laptop, using traktor with an external mixer, tts, and a audio 6.
I use Adobe Audition but Audacity is good free alternative. You can use Sound Forge as well (also paid software).
I will swear by soundforge until I die.

Any decent wave editor will do. Adobe Audition, Sound Forge and Audacity are the typical choices.

I have it already, but I use Ableton to record my mixes. Pretty simple once you get the routing all set. I use Serato, and just route the aux out on my mixer into the soundcard on my computer. At some point I figure I'll invest in a better recording soundcard, but until then, I've been fairly pleased with the results I've achieved so far.
I have a djm 800, audio 8 and I'm trying to record a mix, could someone kindly tell me about how I would this please?
thanks
