Who is manufacturing them and where can I buy them ? Also is it a problem for me to change them myself ? Im not afraid of soldering but I have never opened Technics.

    Help is appreciated.

You can use a record/grocery/whatever crate or strong corrugated cardboard box. The turntable sits upside down on the walls of the crate, tonearm and platter are safe.

Use your dustcover upside down for support if you have one, you can also make a stack of books on each side while the table is flipped.

You can the faders direct from panasonic ($19.86 + shipping), i usually get mine on ebay which cost about $20 shipped, and they are genuine.

This guy is a great source for technics parts, prices are good and ship fast. I always buy my stuff here.
