high quality note book (PC) or Mac

Hi just wondering, I have a high quality notebook (PC) and wondering if I ever get the vci 400 will it run Traktor smoothly or is it best even required to use a macbook pro.

Any answers please reply, the notebook is lovely it is a HP Pavilion dv7 with intel core i7, windows 7, tb hard drive, 8 gigs ram etc.

And most of the venues we will be placing these units in are pc as-well.

Yes it'll run traktor fine

Are you running other DJ's or staff in the venues who will have free access to theses laptops ? ... If so factor in Maintainance if the laptops are connected to the internet.

The fact there is other PC's in the venue should not make a difference, music systems should be considered separately from all other tasks.
