    Default Presonus Firebox Question!

I am a big n00b when it comes to PA systems.

    But I have a question.

I have traktor running through a Presonus Firebox. The Main 1 and Main 2 are set for my headphones and Line Output 3 and 4 output to my AMP.

When I get two amps (QSC GX5) will I plug the cables from output 3 and 4 into one and then outputs 5 and 6 into another amp? Or will I connect one amp to the other?

Traktor doesn't seem like it supports outputting to multiple channels. It will only let me choose two, therefore I have it outputting through Line 3 and 4

How do I get Traktor to Output to 4 different lines? Is it possible? Or will I need to get a mixer?

You don't want Traktor running to four different channels, you want it running to only two.

Now, I'm not that well versed in more detailed sound design, but I'm pretty sure you can run each channel (3 and 4 individually) to each amp. Then run the speakers/effects out of those amps.

    Thanks!

Would it work if I just got a mixer with a few inputs and a bunch of outputs? I could input the two 1/4"s and output to whatever I wanted? Would that work?

Also, if I do this, I can continue to use VCI's onboard mixer correct?

That would work too. It's not necessary, really, but it would work.

And yes, you can use the VCI onboard mixer still.
