Look interesting enough to try out.

I am interested in AIAIAI's new studio headphones coming out this summer. Here is their current latest offering... (consumer usage)

As long as there are no batteries like the normal Beats, they might be worth looking into. The head band looks rather uncomfortable. I'd have to try them on though.

It's beats with a swivel cup... Normal beats are crap, I don't see why these should be any different, considering all "famous names" attached, I think these will be directed at consumers too.

    Those AIAIAI's however...

I find it ironic that these are marketed towards DJs and David Guetta is their celebrity endorsement, because Guetta has been caught with pre-recorded sets on more than one occasion. So their celebrity "DJ" does less Dj'ing than their target audience.

Guetta from the article, "The sound is better than anything I’ve experienced before because it doesn’t distort no matter what volume I am playing music at.” Since when is lack of distortion at high volumes a mark of sound quality? I'd rather know how they sound when they're not distorting than "you can push these cans til your ears bleed!" Unless I'm pushing an amp into the headphones, I sure as hell hope they wouldn't distort at a 250 pound price tag. More buzzword advertising from Beats... Unsurprising.
