    Default Conall's Setup

Thought it was about time I post my setup and tell you guys a bit about the history

I started mixing at the end of 2009 (age 18) using a torrented version of virtual DJ (How cliche!) and purchased a second hand Numark total control and a cheap behringer soundcard soon after.

Later I moved to Traktor after a friend introduced me to it. At the time virtual DJ was very glitchy and wasn't nearly as a stable as Traktor so it was very appealing. Unfortunately I had to deal with not being able to monitor until a few months later when I could afford an audio 2, I dont have any pictures of this time unfortunately.

The total control stopped working about a year ago and I sold the audio 2 in the hope of upgrading at some point but didnt have a lot of money and ended up without a proper setup for longer than I'd have liked.

Over the past few months I've been buying equipment piece by piece (getting some great deals along the way) as I could afford it and so here we are:

The TT's are totally crap but they work for the moment and I should be upgrading the technics very soon. I recently got a great deal on a 1200mk2 and will get another within a couple of months. I really want to get some decent monitors at some point aswell, those will probably be next after the technics.

    Cheers for looking

Ha ha ha. Never new that was the end of the Phrase.

    I not implying anything.

    Just giving @Conalli mad support.

I use that line to support and encourage.

He was talking about buying this and buying that so i'm basically telling him thats the right way.

Nice, I see you are using the Eyetoy as a webcam. Used to do the same thing but can't get it to work with Windows 7...

Its actually a surprisingly good webcam but theres no drivers for the 64 bit version of windows 7, I spent ages looking but ended up just reinstalling the 32 bit version since I only have 3 gig of ram anyway.

It's a VMC-002XLU, It originally comes with rack mounts but they screw off. This one is second hand though and didnt come with the rack mounts anyway. It's very much one of their lower end mixers but I'm pretty impressed with it considering I won it on ebay for £50.
