I can't help but wonder how many needles and records he's gone through in his career thus far.. Hell of a showman, for sure.
I blow stuff up
oh god why is he bending it so brutally why
otherwise, that's a really neat trick.
what the hell is he wearing though?
Is that the same guy that trashed CDJ1000 on a scratch competition?
Many photons have died to bring you this information.
Ok, you guys do realize there's a string wrapped around his thumb, it's pretty obvious when he switches hands that he shifts from one thumb to the other. Cool party trick, but pretty easy to do.
Also, whats up with the trenchcoat that's 5x too big...and I don't think you're supposed to bend the vinyl like that.
nope.
I used to do that kind of trick when i was a kid. The easiest way to do it is with a thing string, or micro-gauge wire that is attached to your shoulder or through your sleeve and run over the thumb. usually done with playing cards and a bit of clear wax to attach the string to the card.
lol at all the rubes asking wondering why he "bends" the records like that.
Yeah, I'll admit I'm a noob, but I can't say I've ever seen anyone bend vinyl like that.
Care to explain why?
nope.
instead of me explaining, ask yourself (maybe out loud even) why a DMC style DJ would do any of the things they do, like scratching behind their back, using their nose to move the cross fader, picking up a turntable while scratching. If you still don't get it, consider the fact that showmanship and/or the spectacle of turntablism escapes your appreciation and move on.
