    Default Akai lpd8

    So i currently have the numark mixtrack pro. And i want to buy the Akai lpd8 is their any way to map the Akai lpd8 to serato dj intro like for samples ? I know this can be done in VDJ but ever since Started using dj intro i dont see my self going back.

    get traktor pro 2, much better

    Yep.. get the budget thing...... but when it comes to mapping midi to a controller... its really in a league of its own. I use Traktor scratch pro with 2 lpd8s myself... using the pads for cue point juggling and the knobs for FX 1-4... the nice thing about the lpd8's is that they are small enough to travel on a plane. Also, Traktor allows you to same mutiple .tsi files so you can save different mappings for when you play on mixers with FX or filters you like... then you can assign the knobs on the lpd8's for other uses....
