Default Remixing on the fly...how to get started?

    Hey guys,

Like many others, I'm a big fan of Ean's videos, and I was wondering how best to get started with doing some remixing on the fly? I'm pretty adept at mixing tracks together, but it's starting to feel a little samey for the time being, so I figured I'd learn to do something new.

Do you have any advice / tips on how to get started, or particular techniques I should learn or use?

    Thanks!

Also, I'd imagine it's not entirely "on the fly." It's not pre-recorded, but I'm sure a routine like Ean does is pretty well-practiced like a DMC routine. I suspect I'm just being picky about semantics here, but it's a point to consider if you haven't already.
