    Default DJM 900 Traktor & Serato possible?

    Hi,
    Quick question, with this mixer can I connect with the usb port to my computer with traktor and still have the the cdj's connected to the serato box for the 2nd dj to play his set using serato? is this possible?

    yes you could do 2 channels traktor and 2 channels serato. But you will need a separate serato sound card (SL1-4) for it to work.

    ya the other dj has an sl-1 sound card. is there any way this can work with only 2 cdj's?

    When you switch from Traktor to Serato :
    You need to change the timecode CDs (of course) and you have to set the deck on traktor on the "THRU" option (click on the deck letter).
    Or you can disable the "soundcard mode" on the DJM but i don't own one so i don't know how to.

    Use the DJM's soundcard with traktor, connect the CDJs to the SL box then to the mixer, when using serato, play with the matrix on line input, when using traktor, change the matrix to USB, change the timecode CDs and activate THRU on your SL
