Default how much would u pay for 2 x pdx2000?

i'm curious to start noodling with a vinyl system. saw a pair of clean pdx2000 for $250 for the pair. thought it was reasonable. thoughts. not for gigging, just a bedroom set. and yes, I understand 1200s FTW.

That's a great price, I'd just pay the $250 straight up.

Do it. Now. Serious. If you find anything's wrong with them and have to pay another $250 to get them tuned, you still win.

    Indeed.

Are these really that desirable? I saw a pair for like $220 with flight cases at a pawn shop over the weekend and passed them up. They look ugly as sin at least but maybe I'll grab em.

wow really? not a sick brag. After I saw the craigslist post, I looked them up on ebay and the only list I saw was a pair for $240.
I dunno, I figured they were kinda of shitty turntables. If everyone is so gungho, I guess I should pickem up. thanks.

They're probably thinking of one of the newer versions. That price is probably fair but not awesome.

They are supposed to be good decks, though.

    Wrong assumption.

I know the difference between the 2000, 2300 and 3000/MKII/MIX. Pretty certain these other guys do as well.

so your saying that any of the PDX-2000 or newer PDX models are a good if not great value at $100-$150 a piece? good to know. I really want a starter set and this seems very doable.
