so im confused one of my friends dj's but he runs 1 deck at a time going into the next song before the other finishes and my other friend mixes two songs at the same time yet he blasts through so many songs and i just wanna clear this up is my friend whos going through one song at a time really djing?

you friend that plays 2 songs at a time? are you meaning he is playing both throughout most of each song or transitioning from 1 song to the other [mixing].

If he is playing 2 songs at the same time I would think thats doing live mashups?
