I was having some issues with the previous versions, but the current versions of Traktor and the sound card drivers seems to be very stable.

    Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Nope. Home Premium would actually be the best one on a DJ laptop - less processes/services. It makes no substantial difference, though.

    ^^ This

The main differences from a consumer standpoint of Windows 7 versions:

Home Basic / "Starter" - Lack of Aero (Glass) effects
Home Premium - Introduction of Aero (Glass effects)
Professional - Ability to remote into your Win 7 Pro PC without third-party software; able to join a domain; slightly more technical networking capabilities
    Ultimate - Advanced File Encryption

    x86 (32-bit) - Limited to 4GB RAM total
x64 (64-bit) - Theoretical limit of 16 exabytes (16,000,000 GB) of memory, though most motherboard manufacturers limit systems to a maximum of 8GB per RAM slot (most laptops have 2 DDR2 or DDR3 slots, though newer laptops are coming with 3 DDR3 slots).

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on both my desktop and my laptop, with Traktor Pro 2 and no issues.
