I started mixing on virtual DJ, using nothing but a mouse and the internal soundcard. I then got introduced to Traktor 3 and I never looked back! I purchased a vci 100 and a few months later an Audio 4 interface. Then I finally upgraded to traktor pro. All I need now is a new laptop (as this one is slowly getting worse and worse as its about 5 years old) and some Mackie monitors.

I am still a beginner, but I got started by buying the vci-100 and a m-audio fast track pro sound card. I used the trial version of Traktor for a while and then upgraded to Traktor Pro.

if you don't got enough money buying a vci + soundcard, i would sugest a bcd3000 to start up and see for some month if you like it. if so sell it and get a better controller ;-)

give deckadance a try, should be able to run on that.
We don't believe in the star system. We want the focus to be on the music. If we have to create an image, it must be an artificial image. That combination hides our physicality and also shows our view of the star system. It is not a compromise-daftpunk
