I also entered, despite having to pay $4 and not retaining any rights. All these contests are mainly aimed at unknown aspiring producers (just like myself) and that could be a chance to gain some attention. Of course if you produce a fine remix.

I'm about 3 mins into mine and it's just reaching the buildy throw your hands up in the ayer and wiggle them around like YOU just don't care bit.

I really wish he'd done the vocals in a booth though.

REALLY fucking pist right now...

I've pretty much been staying up past 1AM most nights to work this shit out. I finnaly got something done that was decent, hopped over to Beatport in a mad dash and began the upload process at about 10:53PM (Pacific). It gave me the "processing" indication and at 11PM gave me the "window for submitting entries has closed". I tried 2 more times with no luck. That's bullshit.

I dont expect the thing to win but I'd really like to submit it with the rest of the folks for review who got theirs "on time"
