what effects do you use? how do you use them .. and where do you use them ... make sense?

Usually before drops, or fading in a song using filters and such. Honestly it's one of those things where all you can do learn them is just fuck with them until you get something that sounds cool, they're just effects.

Only effects I use are delay, Iceverb and filters. I try to only use them when it will add to the song, instead of being annoying and intrusive. For instance a quick press of delay to repeat a snare or kick, or make the hi-hats feel bigger. Occasional Iceverb with low dry/wet on buildups is nice too.
