    Default C.lab's Setup!

This is my music production/ controllerist setup. It includes:
    15" MBP
    APC40
    Maschine
    Kawai pn85
    Mbox mini
    Alesis controlPad
Pluggable 10 port USB 2.0 hub
    Furmam power conditioner
    M-audio keystudio

    SOFTWARE:
    Ableton Suite 8
    Traktor 2
    Protools 8 LE
    Logic studio 9
    Massive
    Maschine
    Stutter edit
    Sugar bytes Turnado

I basically have two sides to my setup. One for music production, synthesis, and midi mapping. The other side is for part writing, dj'in and all out controller INSANITY.

My favorite way to use my setup is as follows.
I use my maschine (running In ableton) to establish my groove.
Then I will use my keyboard and a massive patch to lay down that perfect bass line over the beat. Then I repeat the same step for other melodic voices.
Once I have my tracks built up I like to route them all into "decks".
And finally, I like to place turnado and stutter edit instances on each deck. Then I proceed to get lost for hours turning knobs and recording loop upon loop. Hope y'all like it!

Do you use the maschine for live preformance or production?

Both actually. It has to be the greatest groove production tool I have ever worked with. But with its fx controls, and pattern selects, it's a blast to use live as well.
