Default Suggest a 4 channel mixer?

GREETINGS! For the past couple of months I've been routing my vinyl setup and my digital setup through my vestax pmc-05 (one on phono, the other on line obv..) This has allowed me the convenience of combining the two setups on one external source, but I have two issues.
#1: no third deck capability (obviously[unless you're going to simply count cueing the track]).
#2: the pmc-05 lacks mid range knobs.

SO, I'm looking at picking up a 4 channel mixer to fix these issues. My spending range is <$500. I don't need anything fancy, just a straight up mixer. One very big issue is fitting the mixer into my coffin. I'm not sure if I can actually fit a 4 channel mixer in there, as my pmc is already pretty snug in the middle (I'll probably have to get a new transportation system).

I've looked at and considered both the Behringer djx750 and ddm4000. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I know this is probably an unnecessarily long post but I'm in a wordy mood.

    Peace n' beats,
    Hypernia

Common wisdom is don't touch the 750 and the 4000 is okay. With a budget like that though, look into used gear - there are quite a few 4 channel mixer threads with suggestions in your price range floating about this forum if you search for them.

you wont find many good 4 channel mixers around that price range but the only thing good around your price range would be the ddm4000

If buying 2nd hand is an option, you could look for a Denon DN-X 1100. I think it costs 650 new, but if you find a store that is willing to give you a better deal, you could probably get a new one very close to your original budget.

ddm4000 all way up for its versatility...

You can simulate any mixer EQ frequency ranges with a custom configuration.

This is THE ideal mixer for home usage period

Just buy it... And I've heard that it's way better then DJX700... If you search you will find some reviews.

I had a Vestax PMC 280 for about a year before I got my S4 and abandoned vinyl all together.

It's right in your price range, decent 4 channel mixer with on-board effects (although to be honest, most of the effects sound like crap).

Unfortunately most 4 channel mixers suck unless your willing to spend an arm and a leg.
