Default Running Ableton to Traktor OS X

    Hey all,
I do hope that there is not already a thread I have missed already dealing with this matter.
I am looking to get Ableton running through the same master out channel of Traktor Scratch Pro on a single MacBook Pro. I have been trying to use Soundflower to route the master out of Ableton to direct sound though the same output channel as the master out of TSP that is running in internal mixer mode. I can see loads of forums telling me how to send each channel of Traktor to Ableton.
I want to use Ableton to play some of my produced stuff whilst mixing mainly with Traktor.....
    MBP (Traktor/ Ableton) MBP 17" (Early 2009) 2.93Ghz Core duo, 4Gb 1077Mhz RAM, Seagate Momentus XT 7200rpm 500GB OS X 10.6.4 TSP 1.2.6 (R8491), ADJ8 (2.3.14 driver)
Midi/ Control (either) Vestax: VCM-600 Livid: Ohm64 Akai: APC80 Korg: PadKontrol (running through FarmPad) Technics: SL1210mk II x 1 (and regret selling my other so think twice)

Why cant you just render your productions to mp3 and spin them in Traktor?

I think it's so he can do the work live in Ableton while spinning in traktor
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

I like being able to edit the track on the fly with ableton.

I'm no expert but what i do is render a rough copy of how i want the track then use loops and cues in Traktor to rearrange on the fly. From hear you can even plug it back into live to make use of the additional effects etc.

Well, if you want to edit the track on the fly that might be a bit more complicated. This strikes me as a thread for Bent0 to get involved in.

ermm... hes routing it the wrong way around.
You want to route it from Traktor -> Ableton
Thats a billion times better than Ableton -> Traktor
Use sunflower to route the individual decks in Traktor to different channels in Ableton.

See this tutorial here by nico - http://www.djtechtools.com/2008/05/1...ableton-4-mac/

    Is it possible to route the Master out from Traktor to Soundflower 0 & 1, Traktor Monitor to Soundflower 2 & 3 and Ableton Master to Soundflower 4 & 5 and ableton monitor to Soundflower 6 & 7. The Route Soundflower 0 & 1 and 4 & 5 to ADJ8 1 & 2 out then Soundflower 2 & 3 and 6 & 7 to ADJ8 3 & 4 out and let them mix internally? Is this possible?
