Default VCI 300 and Pioneer efx 500 -

    Hi Everyone

I have now decided that im going to buy the VCI 300 use it with my imac g5 and now i want some effects - been looking at the Pioneer efx 500.

Does anyone know much about it ? If so would it be a good addition to the VCI 300 set up ?

I have been reading up on the effects that it can do and it doesnt mention filter - phaser - roll or robot ? Is that because it wont do it ?

    Cheers

    Luke

Wah is kinda like the phaser. It has built in EQ filters, but not pass filters. I don't know what roll or robot effects are.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

I had the pioneer efx500 - it's ok but why not just use the effects built into traktor. Don't be fooled by the midi either as you cant use it as a midi controller. It was good as an extra efx unit in a analogue setup but now i've got traktor i sold it on without a second thought!

The vci 300 comes with serato itch built in and has no effects ! I currently use a djm400 and love the effects unit.

Does anyone know of other effects units that may be better ?
