So I was at the store today to see if I could still upgrade to traktor scratch pro in a digital way. But all the software discs can't be sold
because not that long ago scumbag NI was all like: "Sup brah, I heard you like time code vinyl software, so we bundled a soundcard with your software, brah, and that's the way it's gonna stay, brah."
_______Question 1:_________
And I was about to buy a nice awesome scratch certified mixer, but that seems a bit pointless now.
Or can you use an A6 for channels decks A&B and the internal soundcard for decks C&D ??
_______Question 2:_________
Also with an external soundcard providing all the necessary soundcard goodness can you recommend another good mixer perhaps ?
I was really fond of the Korg Zero 4 because it's got a
-4 channel soundcard
-sends and recieves midi
-dedicated effects per channel and aditional effects on the master out
-a gazillion (fictional number) EQ types
-lots of channel modes such as audio, midi, hybrid midi & audio
-A VU-meter that actually is helpful to look at (I'm looking at you S4)
-...
I can have one sent to me for €599 or $787
Does anybody know of a mixer that does all of the above even better and is cheaper or is in roughly the same price range ?
A quick glance at the allen & heath website tells me a xone won't be good alternative, sadly.
Also don't bother with suggesting pioneer mixers, I dislike pioneer products.
