    Default Laptop for Virtual Djing

    Hey guys,

    Thanks

The money would be better spent on a SSD.

OK, good deal. Would a dedicated video card be better than an integrated?

As long as your video card can handle scrolling waveforms (read: isn't ancient and shit) it'll handle DJ software fine. Traktor, SSL etc aren't video intensive at all. Don't worry about integrated or independent.

If you doing vj ing yes video is important. If just straight djing video not too important.

Oh, this is a very good point. I was quick to assume he was just going to be running Traktor/Ableton/Serato
