What all should I bring?
My thoughts are:
1) Business Cards
and
2) Sample Mixes on CD's
Is there anything else I should bring? Do I definitely need the 2 I listed?
Any advice helps, thanks!

Here's a link to today's other first gig thread. You'll find that links to other threads with useful info, I can't be bothered to search and cut 'n' paste again.

personally wouldn't bother with the cards
just put all the info on the cd artwork and save yourself some money
or get double cds burnt/printed
Pro tip: Don't do this on a Friday/Saturday night. A nice Tuesday afternoon will mean you can have a good chat with the boss.

Any time when it's not busy, mate. Maybe even ring up first and let the manager know who you are and what you want to see him for. Chances are he'll ask you to pop a CD in the post - but be persistent! You'l be at an advantage just having him see your face.
