VCI400ege Jogs not "scratching"

Just received the vci400ege. everything is working fine besides one thing. Im used to the jog functions on the OG vci100. Being able to scratch, or move the track around the the jogwheel. Was awesome to grab cue points or cue in the new song. Ive been dealing with midi for quite sometime now so I can usually figure it out myself. Not this time ha! Imported the mapping twice, closed traktor, opened traktor imported again, closed traktor and im still having the same issue not being able to "scratch" I dont really know the word im looking for besides scratch. Anybody have any suggestions? When I touch the jog wheel it stops the track completely and normally if you moved the jog back or forth it would move the track. Nothing happens until I let go of the jog and the song continues from that same poiint.

update.... got it working after updating traktor to its latest version.
