What synth?
I hate doing this, as normally I prefer to work with what I have, but theres one synth sound that i just cant replicate. I've been trying so hard with a 303 replicator, because it sounds very 303ish, but could someone please tell me what the lead sound at 4.50 in this? I've been searching for days because I really want to use a similar sound in one of my tracks, and its killing me! I have Massive, if that helps!

yeah the really hollow stabby sound!

Sounds like something found in very early 90's house music, plus it might be processed as well post synth. Try looking up how to make a "House Organ" patch, and then from there just tweak it post synth with effects to get it to sound right.

Quick Google search found this, not exactly what you want, but it's a starting point

Could start with this, and then compress the shit out of it and add some tape saturation/distortion and then add a notch filter.

I found something similar in my Sasha Soundlab, you were right about the notch filter helping to create that hollow sound! vinyl distortion gave it tthat grittyness as well. making a very acid-influenced track, 808 cowbells everywhere.

I actually ended up sampling the original sound and editing it with post-fx, the sasha sounds couldnt be key'd properly so didnt sound right in the mix

at a rough guess, it's filtered white noise in a sampler.

Kinda OT but there's a cool Redshape remix of that which you can check out too:
