Not at all trying to be offensive... i love bass music and deep house but from my understanding (maybe i dont know what im talking about) it seems like it would require a very specific clientel and space to even get booked for this genre. I would think it would be very difficult to get booked unless your an established dj or producer in the field.

it just depends on what's going on in your area. there are 2 places in my area that will book ONLY deep house djs and a few others that are cool with deep sounds and other types of music. i don't even go out all that often so i'm sure there are even more places i don't know about.

If there isn't a specific night for the style of music you like, find other people who like that music too, and other DJ's, and start a club night! If there's no scene, make one...

easier to get down in europe. there isnt much variety in toronto...that i can find. there's a few like 'institutions' that are always popular but not much variety that i can find. Originally Posted by PeteWoods

I would expect deep house to be at a underground rave, like this man said.
The real illegal, ones. In like a warehouse or some random house party, or out in the cayons for 3 days straight.
Every club here is either dubstep or electro house, and all clubs close down by 2am. Salt lake city is ran by mormons. No club is opened past 2am. Kinda boring at that time.
