He also appeared in the BBC's "Loved Up" from 1995, an ode to the heady and halcyon days of rave's relative youth:



Somewhat incongruously he seems to be playing the exact same Cockney wide-boy dealer character he has portrayed in every film he has ever done, only in this he appears to be aged about fourteen.

Now this film has a seriously on-it soundtrack, a one stop shop for a potted history of the alternative rave scene in Britain in the 1990's. It is AWESOME. And can still be found places like Discogs and Amazon.

I strongly urge anyone to watch it, and listen to the soundtrack, it is actually a pretty insightful snapshot of an extraordinary moment in time.

Human traffic - great film been pwopah daarn ill since then for him.

Years ago a club in my town booked dane bowers, around the time of the Victoria Beckham 'outta your mind' incident. It was a bloody look-a-like who just stood next to the DJ it was hilarious!!

I might add we didnt know until he turned up and when we left we realised there was a big poster advertising it...doh!

Whats annoying about him is I saw an interview with him years ago shortly before Human traffic came out I think, I was still at school anyway, and whilst he was cockney it wasn't that strong and certainly wasnt talking like the cocky wannabe-hard tosser like he does now. He's just a caricature of the ppl he's played in films now. Was funny on Celebrity Juice though when they kept calling him malcom.
